But Tiffany used a different method which involved spraying reheated glass with a vaporized solution of salts of tin or iron which was absorbed by the molten glass and created layers of reflecting color when the object cooled.

Tiffany lamps had popular designs like dragonfly, peacocks, wisteria and water lilies. During that time having these lamps was only the reach of the rich and wealthy Americans.
